Nick Leggett the Mayor visits Rimu

We had a special guest in Rimu today.  Mr Leggett chatted to us about what it is like to be the Mayor. He answered our questions and we found out a lot about him. Did you know he was born in Porirua and went to Paremata school?

GOLDILOCKS AND THE BEARS ROCK THE PRODUCTION!

'Goldilocks and the bears' were amazing in our school production.  They kids worked so hard and our dance was fantastic.  I'm so proud of how well they performed for all the shows, even though they were exhausted by the end.  Rimu Rua you are AWESOME!

 Be afraid Goldilocks, be afraid!
What porridge? what chairs? what beds? We don't know what your talking about..

Lions at school???

Kevin, the train driver at Aotea Lagoon, came to talk to us about the Lions Club.

The Lions Club helps people in the community by fundraising and giving them money.
The train at Aotea Lagoon is part of the Lions Club. I enjoyed finding out stuff about the Lions. Kevin was a funny man and I liked the way he talked to us.
